the legacy Torch corrections service was going to be end of life later in 2026. Is that still the case, what is the latest update on when the new service will be automatically activated (if we are still on the old $8 a month service) and what is the latest update on the monthly price?

Correct, the legacy, IP based corrections delivered over MQTT will be shutdown in late 2026. I recommend you switch sooner rather than later as we have found the NTRIP based corrections to be a lot better in terms of time to RTK Fix (it’s seconds), and of the resulting accuracy (it’s usually much better than 30mm).
New price is $15/month.
Once u-blox turns off MQTT access, all users on the $8 plan will be unable to connect. All $8 billings will be stopped as well. Because the service is a different product (and because of good credit card regulations), we can’t automatically ‘upgrade’ users. The $15/month (or $165/annual) subscription can be purchased here.
I like that the new $15 Service has a submission for TURN OFF, as I don’t use mine for 4-5 month stretches. Is there a link to turn off the $8 subscription now?
