I am not a Electronic technician , and am in No way a knowledgeable individual with the Very deep subject of GPS technology.
I have purchased a RTK mosaic-X5 kit that includes the antenna.
And a RTK Facet with the intention of setting up a RTK system here on a small 80 acre farm in Indiana to get a reliable RTK GPS positioning system to spray crops with.
and Also come up with a way to accurately check/find the survey points on my property, and my Parents property.
And to date, and After Many hours of struggle with these components and trying to understand the settings and interface of the two I am getting no where.
Every year has been the same , I have spent several days and many hours trying to understand and setup these units .
And I Run out of time and patience, and just use a tablet GPS to spray with.
( not very accurate, leaving areas out )
I have just purchased a new laptop with windows 11 to try and communicate with these units and complete the setup.
Is There Any Way that I could get a technician to remote into my Laptop and guide me through this process ?
And if so what would be the hourly cost for this service ?
I have owned these units for several years and have yet to get them functioning for the farm.
That lets you bypass the local base, and use either or both of your devices as network Rovers, assuming you have cellular, hotspot, starlink, wifi, etc coverage.
In a perfect world, what does the Facet need to talk to inside the tractor (machine control, laptop, etc.), and what application do you prefer ?

I believe it’s just me and Computers.
I have tried multiple times in the last two days to get the files to down load from the RTK mosaic-x5 To the computer. so I can convert them to Rinex format. Failed , computer says they transfer , but converter doesn’t see them.
My Wonderful Wife sits down at the computer and it works just like the instructions say it is supposed too
So All I can say is Thank You, to My Wife, The LORD, and Hopefully we will receive back the files to load for our location and correction Data from NRCAN PPP.
